The top thing that people will want to do there is visit the Sydney Opera House. Of course, they're correct. After visiting the Opera house, you can take the boat, and ride under the Sydney Harbour bridge. Its colossal size had us flabbergasted as we took pictures, also passing Luna Park, an entertainment park. You could even walk on the bridge with a tour guide pointing your eyes to the vast view you would have up there.
After visiting one of the world's greatest arch bridges, simply taking a walk around Sydney, going into parks and walking along the roads, you will find many fascinating things to look at, even if it is just buildings, or a bird. Many shops and restaurants will accommodate your needs. A personal recommendation is the Circular Quay, where you can walk with the rivers and seas right next to you.
At night, you can visit a train, where it has almost 3 levels in one train to sit at. Watching the view from there is also rewarding, and the ride is smooth, with little sound.
Another mention about the restaurants is necessary. A wide range of restaurants for Breakfast, lunch, dinner or all three is available a taxi away. Offering food from Antarctica to puffy pancakes, a variety of food and drink is all in Sydney.
Visiting the natural landscapes, like the Blue Mountains, can relax your mind, and you can take a moment to lighten up your mood and happiness. You can take in the beautiful scenery. For ground dwellers, you can go into caves and see how the cave has taken thousands of years to change, and witness the life that lives there, even with no light. Just visiting a beach like Bondi beach is also a delightful experience.
Of course, the Taronga Zoo is a must mention, with animals under threat of extinction safely nursed there.
Finally, if you visit at the right time, you can catch Sydney's vivid festivals, where a spectrum of colours is projected all around, and colour shows are performed, sometimes with fireworks! You will be bound to love it, and be captured into the eye-catching performance.
