KUR-Cow Barnwell Farm is located in Kuranda, Queensland, just a 35-minute drive from the city center of Cairns. Encompassing an area of 626 hectares (approximately 10,000 acres), it is surrounded by tropical rainforest. Welcome all ages (from 0-99 years old) of visitors to the KUR-Cow Farm and enjoy playing in the Mini Animal Farm, experts talk about Australian native cattle and various cattle breeds, and choose multiple packages that include ATV off-road 4WD experience, organic farm experiences, and tasting Australian-style Premium Wagyu Dinner.

Petting Zoo included: MINI ANIMAL

There’s no shortage of animals to feed at this property – from cattle down to the chickens who roam freely across the property. Be warned, untold nagging to get your own horse may be caused by patting the four Shetland ponies who welcome visitor’s attention.

Upon entering the farm's mini animal area, a cacophony of various animal sounds fills the air. Here, you can see all the animals you can think of – a diverse array of birds, parrots, chicks, ducklings, geese, piglets, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, ponies, alpacas, and more. The variety is astounding, and all the small animals eagerly welcome visitors to pet and cuddle them. You can  also have the opportunity to hand-milk cows and then taste the delicious flavor of fresh cow's milk!

Add-on Package: ATV Adventure Riding 30 Mins

After the safety instructions from the coach, visitors can then climb aboard the off-road vehicles. One person per vehicle, you have the choice to move slowly or race wildly, tackling slopes, leaping through forests, and crossing muddy streams – a thrilling and adventurous experience! For a while, leave everything behind and feel the cool breeze on your face, enjoying the sensation of fearlessly conquering all challenges!
