Tour Itinerary

7:30-8:30 AM: Scenic Coach Journey to Rainforestation: Begin your day with a comfortable coach ride along the picturesque Kuranda Range, heading towards Rainforestation Nature Park.

9:15 AM: Welcome to Rainforestation: Arrive at the award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park. Our friendly team will greet you, provide information about optional activities, and outline your personalized schedule for the day.

9:30 AM - 10:15 AM: Army Duck Rainforest Tour & Tropical Fruit Orchard: Embark on a unique 45-minute adventure aboard a WWII Army Duck. Explore the rainforest from both land and water as your guide points out fascinating flora and fauna, including a visit to the Tropical Fruit Orchard.

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience: Immerse yourself in Indigenous culture with the Pamagirri people. Witness captivating dances in the rainforest amphitheater, followed by the interactive Dreamtime Walk where you can learn to throw a boomerang and observe spear-throwing and didgeridoo performances.

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Koala & Wildlife Park Exploration: Discover Australian native wildlife at your own pace. Stroll along elevated boardwalks for excellent views of crocodiles, wombats, snakes, dingoes, cassowaries, and the chance to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies. Optional koala or crocodile photos are available.

12:45 PM: Transfer to Kuranda Village: Depart Rainforestation for a short transfer to the charming Kuranda Village. Alternatively, you can choose to stay at Rainforestation for an optional Aussie BBQ lunch.

1:00 PM - 3:45 PM: Kuranda Village Exploration: Enjoy approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes of free time to explore the vibrant Kuranda Village. Wander through unique shops and markets, and consider visiting the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (show your tour voucher for a 10% discount on entry).

4:00 PM: Return Coach Transfer: Your coach departs from outside the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary for a comfortable journey back to your accommodation.

Booking Information

  • It is highly recommended to reconfirm your booking on arrival in Cairns and confirm your hotel pick up departure and pick up time. For your information, complete Tour Operator Information including contact details are included on your tour voucher
  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on the day of the tour. Vouchers presented on a mobile device are also accepted
  • Availability was accurate at the time of booking however, is subject to change due to circumstances out of our control. We strongly suggest reconfirming your booking with the tour operator within 24 hours of making your booking and prior to making other travel arrangements

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
