Join Balloon Aloft and Brighton Coach for a breathtaking hot air ballooning adventure over the picturesque Hunter Valley wine region, now conveniently paired with a seamless return transfer to Sydney CBD. (From Tue-Sat, you will need 6 people to book the bus)

Transportation

Self-Drive Meet-Up:

  • Location: Peterson's Champagne House, corner of Broke Road and Wine Country Drive, Pokolbin, NSW (2457 Broke Rd, Pokolbin NSW 2320).
  • Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled activity time.
  • Important: Late arrivals or no-shows are non-refundable.

Hunter Valley Local Transfer (Daily):

  • Pickup: Coach pickup from local Hunter Valley accommodation at 3:45 AM.

Sydney CBD Transfer (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday):

  • Departure: Coach departs from Sydney at 3:00 AM.
  • Pickup Points: Rydges Hotel World Square, Holiday Inn Darling Harbour, The Intercontinental Sydney, OR Furama Darling Harbour (68 Harbour St, Haymarket NSW 2000).

Additional Details:

  • Upon arrival at Peterson's Champagne House, you'll be greeted by your pilot and crew. Enjoy complimentary cookies, coffee, or tea while signing in and ordering breakfast. Observe the pilots conducting pre-flight preparations, including wind tests.
  • A pre-flight briefing will be provided before boarding the bus to the launch site.
  • Peterson's Champagne House, specializing in champagne production, is the designated meeting point. It's conveniently located near hotels in Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury, Mount View, and Cessnock (10-minute drive).
  • Travel times from other locations: Broke, Maitland, or Singleton (30-35 minutes); Wollombi (50 minutes).

Things to Note

Pricing & Eligibility:

  • Price: All prices are listed in AUD.
  • Child/Adult Pricing: Child and adult prices are the same.
  • Age Eligibility: Participants must be 7 years or older.
  • Weight Limit: Participants must weigh between 0kg and 140kg.

Booking Information:

  • Required Information: When booking, provide the weight of each individual (in kg), names of all travelers, gender, permanent address, and hotel address.
  • Fee Structure: The same price applies to all ages (in AUD).
  • Weekend Bookings: Weekend tickets sell out quickly. Request your date at least 4 weeks in advance.
  • Timings: Timings provided are a guideline only.
  • Flight Ticket: Includes a 60-minute flying experience (and breakfast). If the flight is canceled on a specific day, you can reschedule within 12 months, but refunds are not available. Flight activities may be canceled due to weather or force majeure.

Participant Requirements & Safety:

  • Experience: No prior experience is needed. The activity is safe for beginners.
  • Height Requirement: Participants must be at least 120cm tall.
  • Pregnancy: This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
  • Fitness: Participants should be fit and well, without significant knee, hip, or back problems, broken bones, or recent surgeries. They should be able to stand unassisted for 1 hour.
  • Children: The burner noise may frighten young children.
  • Accessibility: The activity is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.

What to Bring & Wear:

  • Bring: Tripods are allowed in the basket. A small camera is recommended for convenience.
  • Wear:
    • Waterproof shoes.
    • Clothing suitable for walking or hiking with enclosed footwear.
    • Dress comfortably for the early morning ground temperature.
    • Dress in layers, as the temperature will increase after sunrise.

Check-In Procedure Update:

  • The check-in process has changed from requiring a phone call to using email and text message notifications.
  • You no longer need to call to confirm the meeting time. All necessary information will be provided via email and text message.
  • Provide the correct email address and mobile phone number to receive flight updates.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.

    I loved flying in the hot air balloon, it felt really nice flying above everything, the sunrise was beautiful and something I will remember.

    The breakfast was good as well.

    At first, we had to wait a little bit, but then the staff (who were really kind and knew a lot about this) told us that they were trying to find the perfect spot so that we could have the best experience for balloon flight, and it was very heartwarming. The breakfast that we had after the flight was also really good, and I recommend that you bring clothing that keeps you warm, my sister had to borrow my clothing 😂

    在前一天晚上成功check in後，起飛當天，我與另外2名老人一大清早起床，且乘坐熱氣球公司的專車到peterson集合地點。

    在到達peterson集合地點後，我們再一步填寫了準備進行起飛的表格。

    可是在乘坐另一輛熱氣球公司專車前往起飛地點途中，被熱氣球公司職員通知要取消飛行，且沒有提供任何實際或合理理由，只是不停的「Sorry guys…」。惟當天一整天沒有下雨，天朗氣清，本人至今仍摸不著頭腦到底為何要取消這活動。

    本人正與客服和熱氣球公司接洽商量退款事宜。特此紀錄發生在本人且家中2名老人的不愉快事件。在此特別保留使用法律途徑追究熱氣球公司的權利。勸喻其他有意參與這活動的遊客三思。

      請了解熱氣球公司是以專業儀器測量以決定當天是否適合安全飛行, 不同於我們常人肉眼感覺.
      熱氣球公司明白客人期待成功飛行的心情並會盡力嘗試飛行.

      最後由於當天天氣因素決定不飛行.
