This wildlife encounter takes you to the islands top snorkeling spots in the ruggedly spectacular, Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, to experience the best of the local marine life, above and below the water. The comfortable vessel allows for safety and enjoyment, as you dive in to discover this incredible marine park beneath the surface. Enjoy a gourmet grazing platter, including a delicious array of seafood selections as you cruise. Dietary requirements can be catered to (please notify Reservations Staff).

Look out for Wild Bottlenose Dolphins, explore limestone reefs and rocky outcrops, meet the local marine bird life and frolic with the rarest Sea Lions in the world. All equipment is provided, and our highly trained and experienced crew will introduce you to snorkeling with an emphasis on safety and environmental awareness, so you can make the most of your wild encounter in wild luxury. They will also point out the best wildlife spotting opportunities of the day. Wild dolphins, rare Australian sea lions, pelican rookeries, and birds of prey are regularly sighted, and our friendly crew will get you right amongst the action!

We provide wetsuits, mask and snorkels, fins, and flotation devices. Onboard our comfortable, and safe vessel enjoy a luncheon gourmet grazing platter, including a delicious array of seafood selections. Dietary requirements can be catered to.

Our crew are qualified professionals with a passion for the ocean and our playful Sea Lions friends!

The cruise concludes, returning to Mersey Point (Mainland Jetty).

  • Wildlife on our snorkeling tour is not guaranteed, as we are working with wild animals. We will make the most of all wildlife opportunities of the day and ensure you discover the beauty of this ruggedly spectacular marine park. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel cruises due to weather conditions. Your safety is our priority.

  • **This Snorkel Tour is not suitable for children under 6 years of age
  • Spectator - Non Swimmer ticket available
    Spectating tickets (those who want to enjoy without getting wet) can be booked via email for simply booking your swimming passengers below for all correct details/date and then once complete email the above email address with your new booking reference number and we can add on additional spectating passengers.
  • Please note: guests must be able to swim to participate in snorkeling. also can fully understand English and can communicate in English . There will be a guide in the water for assistance, and floatation devices available for those that require them. 
  • Other Information: Crew will ensure visitors receive the best wildlife viewing opportunities on your cruise. We ask you to please respect the Shoalwater Island Marine Park. We are entering a natural habitat therefore animals sightings are not guaranteed as we do not feed or train them.
  • Penguin Island will be closed on the hottest days of Summer due to the Little Penguins Moulting, as per The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions.
    It’s important that you are adequately dressed because it can be cold, even in summer. A warm weather proof jacket is essential. Gloves, scarves & beanies for the colder days are a good idea.
  • Tours operate daily during winter season, however bookings are essential as places are subject to availability.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATIONTo join this tour you must sign our waiver of
    liability     prior to your tour departing. A link to Smartwaiver
    will be sent in your confirmation email. Please ensure all passengers sign this
    form (under 18 years must be completed as a minor and signed by a guardian). please click 'waiver of liability' if attending tour to complete before departure.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 3days. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
