Flights to Thomson Bay are subject to weather. Seaplane may arrive at Rottnest Island Airport if water conditions are unfavourable and a shuttle service to the settlement will be provided.

10:00 am Depart Swan River, Perth for your scenic flight to Rottnest Island
10:15 am Board the tender vessel and take a short boat ride to Thomson Bay Jetty. Free time to explore settlement.
12:00 pm Welcome cocktail at Lontara Restaurant
3:45 pm Board a tender vessel for a short boat ride to the seaplane
4:00 pm Depart Thomson Bay for your return scenic flight to Perth
4:20 pm Arrive at Queen Street Jetty, South Perth.

Things to Note

  • All passengers are weighed at check-in.
  • Weight restrictions mean we cannot take passengers over 120kg. False declaration of body weight may result in your fare being cancelled. Please allow for clothing when declaring your weight as you will be weighed in your current attire. A luggage allowance of 5kg per person is automatically added.
  • It is common for Rottnest Island to experience unfavourable winds in the afternoon which can restrict seaplane transfers. In the event of high wind above our seaplane take-off and landing crosswind limit alternative transport from Rottnest Island will be arranged and a partial refund will be offered.
  • Due to limited tour spaces, all tour bookings must be paid for in full to secure booking.
  • All flights and tours are subject to minimum passenger numbers.
  • The baggage allowance for all flights is strictly 5kg per person. Luggage is weighed at check-in. Additional luggage can be transported to your destination at an additional cost.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or change any tour due to unforeseen circumstances

Cancellation Policy

No refund if cancel after order is placed.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
